My first blog lurking....surfing.....DISCOVERY!
When I was looking for Cricut scrapbooking ideas, I discovered this fun blog My Pink Stamper by Robyn. She reminds me of my spunky silly self, only I am a brunette .... Robyn's blog made me curious to blogging and crafting and thus I began this slow journey into the blog world.
1/2 way done with the school year.....
It is hard to believe that it is already the end of the first semester of this school year!
My own daughters have grown so much since September, both academically and physically. We have discovered that our oldest daughter, Marisa is now taller than me and our youngest, Lauren is catching up too. Time for clothing assessment soon! :)
Last week things became a little clearer for us at the Alberts....well that is for our daughters, we discovered that both girls are farsighted and needed glasses. I will post photos of their new looks soon. I loved their discoveries, as they could see the world differently with their new glasses.
Lauren's first discovery with her new glasses, was that she could see sale tags bigger!
Marisa's discovery came after she came home from school and told us how much better it was to take her tests now...we all giggled as she has maintained all A's in school.
My personal discovery today has been that I can slow down and still get things done. I have been focusing on Flylady for the home, which has helped get our home back into order. I have been using my crockpot for dinners and taking time to rest, then do some work. Today was a treat as I was back to my normal 1/2 day time schedule and it felt great! I know this is the best for me as I was the happiest I have been in a long time!!

Inspirations
In trying to get organized for the new year...I have found inspiration in others blog spots. Now I have decided to start my first blog and see what discoveries I can make in 2011 in all areas of my life.
